This edition has been produced on the occasion of Katie Cuddon's Ceramics Fellowship at Camden Arts Centre in 2011.
About the work
Made during her Ceramics Fellowship at Camden Arts Centre in 2011, this work forms part of Cuddon’s ongoing investigations into clay’s facility for conveying raw expression through the directness with which it can be manipulated. During the Fellowship, Cuddon developed the use of ceramic colouring methods as well as examining the complex relationship between the image and object, mark-making and the surface of the built clay sculptures she creates.
