It is part of her ongoing research, writing and performance practice exploring legacies of Transatlantic Slavery, histories of migration and indenture on the Indian and Atlantic Oceans, and ecologies of oceanic spaces. ‘Insurance' is part of her monograph \u003ci\u003eBlack Atlantis\u003c\/i\u003e\u003cspan\u003e which is forthcoming in Autumn 2026 with Strange Attractor\/MIT
