Environmental Policy
Camden Art Centre aims to minimise its environmental footprint where possible.
Our Shop prioritises working with companies who are based in the United Kingdom, with stock preferably produced, stocked and distributed within the United Kingdom, as opposed to importing from further afield.
Where possible we strive to work with small independent makers who produce things sustainably and in small batches.
We prioritise clothing lines from makers who are proactive around environmental responsibility and make products that are sustainable, accredited and durable.
Most of our greeting cards we stock are made from recycled materials and use minimal packaging (such as cellophane sleeves).
We place and group orders weekly, trying to avoid frequent smaller orders which would require more deliveries.
When packing items ourselves, where possible we use recycled materials for packaging, opting for paper and card over plastics.
