About the Work
In this work, Farrer re-imagines Duchamp’s 1912 painting, Nude Descending a Staircase, No. 2, by setting-up his camera on a slow exposure to capture his movement down the stairs of his French home. Steve Farrer exhibited in Film in Space in 2012.

Steve Farrer (b. 1951, Manchester) is a visual artist and experimental filmmaker living and working in London. He studied Fine Art at N.E.L.P and Film at the Royal College of Art.
