About the work
The central spectacle of Serena Korda’s 2013 exhibition was a four-metre tall puppet reminiscent of early B-movies such as Godzilla. The exhibition also included a film which explored animal symbolism through the figure of a majestic black feline character. This photograph features one of the cats Korda ‘auditioned’ for this role.
